So I'll admit this post has been a long time coming!...
Last year, I was asked by one of my best friend's to design the wedding stationery for her special day. I was slightly nervous to do this for such a close friend but also so excited as she's so creative and always considers every detail when organising an event.
The wedding reception was held in the most amazing Tipi structure and the whole wedding had a very Scandanavian/Nordic feel. My research started with looking into the landscapes of Norway for and looking at the geometric style that has inspired interior and graphic design all around Europe. The brown textured stock captured the rustic feel of the wedding and the geometric theme played throughout all the graphics including the table plan and place names. Pinterest played a great part in pulling all this together!
I designed the save the dates, invites, table plan, table names, numbers, signage order of service and their website.
It's safe to say Sophie & Rob were very happy with how the wedding all came together and how all the details fell into place. The whole look and feel of the wedding was so fabulous that it has been featured in the very reputable blog 'Rock my Wedding'!
It was such a beautiful day, I felt humbled to be such a big part of it and it'll be a day I remember forever!
This was my first time doing wedding stationery and I was really pleased with the outcome and that I got the chance to create unique and creative stationery for Rob & Sophie. It's definitely given me a taste for Wedding design!
